Shiatsu is a great de-stresser and general health tonic. Shiatsu ‘re-balances’ the energies of your body, improving overall well-being and may resolve many chronic problems, including back pain, digestive and menstrual problems, headaches and other painful conditions.

I work with your body during a Shiatsu treatment to open, stretch and mobilise the joints, as well as using pressure to adjust the subtle energy that runs through ‘meridians’ on your body, releasing tension and congestion. Clients often say that they have more energy and an improved sense of well-being following a treatment.

You remain clothed throughout the treatment and I suggest that you wear loose-fitting, natural fibre clothing.

A series of treatments may be recommended, depending on your health status. I work holistically and may suggest certain adjustments to diet, exercise and other lifestyle factors to help you improve your level of health.
