Izzy Ixer

Izzy discovered Yoga as a teenager and after several years’ study she gained the British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma. With over 40 years’ teaching experience she has worked with groups and with people of all ages and loves helping others to discover the positive effects of Hatha Yoga.
As an ILM qualified coach and mentor, Izzy is able to bring a coaching style to Yoga sessions, encouraging her students to develop their own understanding of Yoga and how it works for them.
To maintain her professional development Izzy works with Yoga specialists Peter Blackaby and Zoe Knott and in 2017 gained the Yoga Sports Science Foundation qualification for Yoga for Athletes at St Mary’s University in Twickenham. She works with the Ipswich Triathlon Club, helping them to improve their performance and manage injuries. She also leads regular, daytime Yoga groups, workplace Yoga groups and works with Suffolk Family Carers.
1 hour, individually tailored Yoga sessions are available at the Natural Health Centre.
